Party-goers are about to get yet another weekly event with the launch of the new party, Allstars Thursdays. The weekly party series which kicked off last Thursday at the Village Blues Bar, Barbican Road, is the brainchild of sound system selectors, the Kingston Allstars.
The sound system, which has risen to prominence in the Corporate Area, has played at a number of premier events and clubs, namely, Magnum Stone Love Anniversary, Twisted Spiritz, Absinthe, Rum Punch, Linstead Carnival, Igloo, the Quad Night Club, the now defunct Pure/Plush Lounge and more. Member of the group, Richard Pusey, says Allstars Thursdays is yet another great event featuring great musical selections and some of the top selectors in the industry.
"We thought it was a great idea to introduce a party where people could come and unwind and have fun after work or classes. It's gonna have a great party vibe, in a great venue, excellent musical selections, excellent drink prices and your friends will be there. Thursday nights shouldn't be spent at home being bored, or have people wishing the weekend could hurry and get here. It's a great way to start the weekend early and have inexpensive fun," he said.
